Rough Collie Male Tricolour ( black, tan & white)
Luca is 11 months old. Fully vaccinated, holds IKC (FCI) registration papers and EU pet valid passport. He comes from English, European and American Championship lines. Both his parents can be seen.
House trained, lead walking trained, well used to car / van travels, has very good recall. Have been shown since 4 month old here and abroad with good success, gaining few national puppy and baby puppy champion titles. 1 point towards his Irish Junior Champion and 3 open shows (entered and paid) and 1 championship show left to claim his Irish Junior Diploma.
Sweetest boy with a very typical Rough Collie male temper- loving, carrying and respectful lad, funny, playful and great pet to live with, a boy who will create an absolutely incredible and hard to explain bond with his human – as roughs do!
Very active? – NO ROUGHS are most easiest breed to please and they fully adjust to their human but Luca would love to remain as little active as he is here – 2 longer walk ( 45-60 minutes of wonder walk and some stimulation)
What we expect for him? Home, love, understand of dog’s needs, perfectly with another dog (female or no dominant male) or teenage kids to keep him busy (please keep in mind that a healthy adult dog his size would be more than happy to sleep for at least 18 hours a day – not sleep not working- rough collies are watch dogs who even while sleeping are fully aware what’s going in thier household abd around). Strictly indoor settings.
We will be happy to consider a co-own home for newcomers to the dog show community – we will help you and guide you.
Any questions? Do not hesitate to ask- we are here to talk about dogs anytime.
Ps you might wonder why we are letting such old puppy go? Well, it wasn’t our plan to keep more males so we are trying to focus on that and yet why we didn’t let him go ealier – easy we do believe that age 6-10 months isn’t the best time for pup to be challenged with such a big event as moving house with new human. And before that…. Well we were “lucky” with a few time wasters…
