Dogdeals.ie reserve the right not to publish ads that do not meet the legal requirements e.g (Microchips registered with approved Irish database, correct mobile number, correct  email address), pups must be 8 weeks or older before they can be sold but can be advertised before this as long as they are microchipped and registered. 

If a user sells or supplies six or more pet animals in a calendar year, they must comply with the applicable registration requirements of the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine. The registration requirement does not apply where a statutory exemption applies, including persons to whom the Dog Breeding Establishments Act 2010 applies. Where a registration number is legally required, it must be included in the advertisement. Ads are reviewed before publication.

Dogs with docked tails or cropped ears will only be accepted for listing if the procedure was carried out by a registered veterinary practitioner in compliance with Irish law (SI No. 127/2014), and appropriate veterinary documentation is provided. Listings that do not meet these requirements will be removed.

DogDeals.ie reserves the right to refuse, edit, restrict or remove any advertisement, and to restrict or suspend a user account, where we believe that the advertisement or account breaches these Terms & Conditions, contains illegal or misleading content, does not comply with applicable Irish regulations, or raises concerns relating to fraud, animal welfare or user safety.

 Dogdeals.ie reserve the right to remove any user showing suspicious behavior onsite, or sellers requesting down payments/delivery charges/online payments upfront. This is PROHIBITED on this website to protect buyers & sellers from being SCAMMED.

Content Moderation and Reporting
DogDeals.ie reviews advertisements before publication and may also review advertisements after publication. Reviews are primarily carried out manually and may be supported by technical and anti-spam measures.

Anyone who believes that an advertisement contains illegal content or breaches these Terms & Conditions may report it to DogDeals.ie. Registered users may use the Report Abuse facility available on individual advertisements. Reports may also be submitted through our Contact Us page or by email to dogdealsireland@gmail.com.

Reports should identify the advertisement concerned and explain why the content is believed to be illegal or in breach of these Terms. DogDeals.ie will review reports in a timely, diligent, objective and non-arbitrary manner.

Where we remove or restrict an advertisement or suspend an account because we consider the content to be illegal or in breach of these Terms, we will provide the affected user with the reason for the decision where we have their electronic contact details.

Digital Services Act Contact Point
For communications relating to the EU Digital Services Act, including communications from users and competent authorities, DogDeals.ie can be contacted electronically at dogdealsireland@gmail.com. Communications may be made in English.

Dogdeals.ie Will not be held responsible for any loss of money due to user negligence or user not abiding by these recommendations set out here on our website.

Dogdeals.ie  are unable to offer refunds at this point in time. If it’s the case that your ad is not able to be published, then we will do our very best to help you to input all the correct information required in the advert so as to help get it online and hopefully a successful sale.

As part of our social marketing strategy, dogdeals.ie may occasionally publish your ad on our social media platforms/Google Ads campaigns and you may benefit by increasing your ad’s views which could lead to more potential buyers.

Dogdeals.ie reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days’ notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Service.
